My first paid speech came from my mom, who was putting together a program at a community college for a class she was taking. $250 back in 2005 (pre-contest notoriety).

You are a product of your past, but not a prisoner of it. I think this can be an apt message for your story.

I loved the delivery, stage usage & voice modulation! Even though your dad was giving you shiny new shoes, he was still stuck in the torn shoes.

The way you connected that feeling of getting stuck in a moment in the past, with the audience, was wonderful.

May be, just like you did, the audience can send a text message to themselves, to remove those shoes.

A dramatic version would be to ask the audience to remove their phones from the pockets, send a message to themselves,

and that woukd be the message you want to convey!

OK….Missed the October 1 date.  But I did get it done.

First episode is loaded.  Submitted show to Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Stitcher.  I think Libsyn does the direct link with Spotify.

Now to start batching the episodes.

    1.  Does my story relate to everyone, or are people left out?

    2.  Is there humor bits in the story to balance it out?

    3.  Am I sharing too much heavy stuff?

    4.  Is the Call to Action a motivator?

I purchased the recordings of this event after StageTime Live – Game Changers in 2020.

After watching the videos, I’ve put a few things in place already.  I have a name (Win the Deal Podcast) and already purchased the domain for it.  I also have my cover art completed.

I’m writing up the intro/outro and have the voice over person identified on Fiverr.  I’ll be getting that into the queue shortly.

I have my book of ideas for the podcast already from before the course.  Now I will make the plans to get the first 3 episodes recorded so that I can get my Libsyn account and start to get this into Apple Podcasts and the other platforms for launch.

I anticipate having my launch on October 1.

Sorry I missed the August 21st session.  I had a previous commitment.  I feel like I missed too much, so I won’t do that again.
